Tumblehome Lodge

Wow, if you want to find a little bit of paradise, this is the place. From the first view of the lake, we were hooked! Our family rented 2 cottages and they were marvelous! The area has a almost private lake atmosphere. We did not bring a boat, but luckily for us the owners have many boats available to rent for a very reasonable price. Speaking of owners they were absolutely phenomenal to work with! The staff are equally great to deal with. Location:9/10 Cottage: 10/10 Staff: 10/10 Date of stay: May 2022

I have to give these fine folks an A+ for helping us today when we were in a jam. Our outboard quit right after setting off from the public boat launch so we paddled to the lodge in hopes of getting gas and some help. George the owner, got his hands dirty and ended up taking apart the carburetor and fixed the issue. Way beyond expectations. We were able to have the day we came to the lake for. A huge thanks to George and crew for being fantastic people. They went above and beyond for us. Thanks again George!

As always a very relaxing and Enjoyable time. A tad hot but the nights were good. Fishing had slowed due to hot water but we still found them. Awesome looking forward to next trip there.

Being occupied with work, I never knew such a place existed. Indeed it was a paradise not too far from Toronto. It was so beautiful and relaxing words cannot describe. I will for sure revisit Tumble home lodge. Good service and very kind hosts. May God bless you.

If you ever want a place to vacation with your family this is the place to go! The new owners George and Sue and their family are awesome! They are so family oriented and are so friendly! The cabins are fantastic and it doesn't matter what cabin you choose they are super clean and all have a screened in porch! The beach is amazing for the young and old to enjoy,playground for the kids and my daughters favourite this year was they had a movie night outside and not only was the movie great the view out on the water was beautiful and Sue brought treats out for all that came!! Another favourite is the store my daughter made sure every morning there she was at the store to get her treat for 8am opening!! Too much to say just if you get the chance stay at this lodge!! My family and I have been coming to Tumblehome for over 25 years. As a kid it was a great place to spend with all my cousins, fishing, swimming and playing flashlight tag around camp. As an adult it’s a great place to unplug and continue to make memories with my family. The beauty of the lake is unbeatable and still gets me every year. It’s my favorite week of the whole year. We’ve made lifelong friends and now the next generation of our family gets to fall in love with it.

We just spent 3 days at Tumblehome Lodge, arrived as customers and left feeling like family. Great experience, beautiful lake and terrific fishing. 90 plus fish in the three days. Less than 1 and 1/2 hours drive from Ottawa. Highly recommend the lodge and will go back again.

Tumblehome was perfect for my boys and I! The family that owns it and staff that work there are beyond kind and helpful with anything we needed. Our cottage was clean and spacious with the essentials you'd expect. The swimming area with a beach is large and there's a little Island that is close enough for kids to swim to and explore. There are a couple beaches for families to also enjoy nearby. We never got "skunked" fishing and we went at least once a day. Whether you are going on a fishing trip with the guys or a family vacation I would absolutely recommend Tumblehome to anyone!
